Former President Donald Trump has announced that he has already chosen a running mate.
Trump made the declaration during a Fox News town hall.
Much to everyone's disappointment, Trump refused to name his choice.
Fox anchor Martha MacCallum asked the Republican primary frontrunner who is in the running for vice president.
"Well I can’t tell you that really. I mean, I know who it’s going to be," Trump said. Trump says he has already chosen his VP for 2024.
Who do you think he picked?

MacCallum followed up by asking if he would consider any of his primary challengers.
"I’ve already started to like Christie better," Trump joked.
Former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie dropped out of the race earlier in the day. Trump says he knows who he wants as VP and will keep it a secret. But that’s not the news here for me.
Look at Trump! He looks healthy and a little trimmed up. He is still sharp, witty, and rattling off zingers.

Trump also said he is getting many calls from people eager to work in a second Trump administration.
"I have a lot of people that want to work with me," Trump said. "I have people calling — just as I’m getting on the stage, I had a call from two of the very most important people in the military wanting to come work for me." President Trump: “Just as I’m getting on the stage, I had a call from two of the very most important people in the military (who) wanna come to work for me…” 😎

Trump acknowledged that he had some people in his previous administration who were "not great" and "stiffs."
"Everybody wants to come to work for us. We’re gonna have no trouble. We had great people [in his first term], we had a couple that were not great, stiffs, as I would call them, but that’s true with anybody," Trump continued.
Trump is currently leading his closest competition by an average of 35 percent in Iowa, according to the RealClearPolitics average of polls.
The Iowa caucuses, the first state of the primary season, will take place on January 15.
