They're Afraid: CNN's Van Jones Says He Was 'Shaking' Listening to Vivek Ramaswamy Speak

CNN analyst Van Jones claimed that he was "shaking" listening to Vivek Ramaswamy speak during Wednesday night's GOP debate on NewsNation.

The pundit claimed that viewers were witnessing “the rise of an American demagogue.”

“That guy is dangerous. That’s dangerous,” Jones claimed during a panel on the network immediately following the debate.

Jones claimed that the America First candidate was "one step away from Nazi propaganda" and that he was "shaking" listening to him.

“And the smug, condescending way that he just spews this poison out, is very, very dangerous. Because he won’t stop Trump, but he’s going to outlive Trump by about 50 years,” he continued. “You’re watching the rise of an American demagogue that is a very, very despicable person. And I literally, I was— I was shaking listening to him talk because a lot of people don’t know. That is one step away from Nazi propaganda coming out of his mouth.”

During the debate, Ramaswamy mopped the floor with Nikki Haley by repeatedly calling out her warmongering and ties to the Military Industrial Complex. He also took aim at Chris Christie, saying that he should just drop out of the race.

"Nikki, I don't have a woman problem. You have a corruption problem. This is a woman who will send your kids to die so she can buy a bigger house," Ramaswamy said at one point.

Ramaswamy also blasted Haley over her claim that "an attack on Israel is an attack on the United States."

"I mean, Nikki, if you can’t tell the difference between where Israel is and the U.S. is on a map, I can have my three-year-old son show you the difference," Ramaswamy said. "That is irresponsible because it has major consequences because that doesn’t leave room for what actually is an attack on America. So I believe I have the strongest pro-Israel position actually on this stage, even though it’s a little bit different than the standard GOP talking points."
