Playboy Club Picks Up Viral Oilers Girl

Playboy announced a partnership with an Edmonton Oilers fan who went viral after flashing the crowd during a playoff game earlier this month.

During the Oiler's final game against the Dallas Stars, the woman, later identified as Kait, was recorded flashing the crowd as fans cheered the team on. Kait's identity remained a mystery for some time, though was revealed during a June 9 episode of Barstool Sports' podcast Spittin' Chiclets, hosted by Brian "Rear Admiral" McGonagle, along with former NHL player Paul Bissonnette and Ryan Whitney.

On Friday, Playboy announced Kait had joined the outlet's subscription-based content creator club. Kait also participated in a photoshoot with Playboy in promotion of her partnership which featured sexually suggestive photos of the Oilers fan in a locker room surrounded by the team's regalia. Playboy shared several pictures from the photoshoot and referred to Kait as the Oiler's "good luck charm" in their announcement.

"The Edmonton Oilers might not have the Stanley Cup just yet, but with Kait cheering them on, they're unstoppable," Playboy wrote.

Kait reportedly turned down "massive deals" from other adult websites before joining Playboy, Daily Mail reported.

After facing some backlash for her viral moment, Kait shared a video to social media responding to critics.

"I thought long and hard what I wanted to say to everybody," Kate said. "I just wanted to say, you could be the most perfect, godly f---ing person in the world. You could save kittens from the river if they were drowning. Someone’s still going to hate you."

"So you know what? At the end of the day, I got drunk and whipped my t--s out at an Oilers game, and they went viral?" she continued. "F--- you if you don’t like it."

The Oilers fan ended the video shouting: "Woo! Go Oilers!"

Kait said the incident during the Oiler's final game against the Stars was spontaneous.

"It wasn't like planned or anything ... it just kinda happened," she said, adding she initially tried flagging and reporting the video for removal after it was posted online.

"I was like, 'Okay, it's gone. We dealt with it,'" she said, confirming the video was recorded by someone she did not know. "Then Friday night, it like came back with a vengeance."

The Florida Panthers took a three-game lead over the Oilers in a best-of-seven final round of the playoffs, though the Oilers have dominated the past three games leaving the series tied for the Stanley Cup.

The Oilers will face off against the Panthers for game seven at the Amerant Bank Arena in Florida tonight at 8 p.m. EST.
