Ebay Removes J6 Auction For Violating Policy On Disaster, Tragedy

Lawyer Viva Frei: 'I cannot believe the fascist technocracy in which we are living. An absolute flipping joke'

Ebay Removes J6 Auction For Violating Policy On Disaster, Tragedy

Ebay removed a miniature lectern auction from its marketplace for allegedly violating the online marketplace's disaster and tragedy policy.

Over the last year, J6er Adam Johnson, also known as "The Lectern Guy," has donated miniature lecterns to auction off through Ebay in support of fellow J6ers. Per Johnson's plea deal, he cannot be involved in the monetary transaction of collecting and donating proceeds to fellow J6ers.

The miniature lecterns are modeled after Pelosi’s and include a seal featuring a silhouette of Johnson holding the former Speaker’s lectern with the phrase “Take a Stand.”

In a Monday X post, lawyer Viva Frei, an associate of Johnson who has handled his auctions, reported that Ebay had removed the latest miniature lectern listing for violating the online marketplace's disaster and tragedy policy.

Listings that violate the marketplace's policy include: "items that portray, glorify, or attempt to profit from human tragedy or suffering, or that are insensitive to victims of such events, are not allowed."

"I cannot believe the fascist technocracy in which we are living. An absolute flipping joke," Frei wrote. "I’ll figure out how to properly auction this. I am absolutely speechless."

The lawyer went on to note that Ebay allows auctions of Adolf Hitler's Mein Kampf and exploitation body horror film The Human Centipede (First Sequence) despite both appearing to violate the marketplace's disaster and tragedy policy.

Johnson later commented on the matter in his own post.

"I've auctioned off close to a dozen of my handmade lecterns and given all of the proceeds to charity over the past year. I've made a lot for friends through my ordeal, and Viva Frei is one of the best men I've had the pleasure of getting to know," Johnson wrote.

Johnson said Frei offered to use his account and online following to boost the auction's visibility in hopes of garnering more money off the auction for the J6 family.

"Well, Ebay just shut the listing down," Johnson continued. "This new world is against people who are trying to do good. In fact it seems most days, the people in charge are trying to drown us in debt, send our children to war, and shutdown people who want to make a difference."

The J6er told SCNR News that he would not be deterred by Ebay's roadblock, adding his 501c3 had been approved and a new website to host auctions would be available by November.

"Thanks Viva Frei for all you do and for the work that's yet to come," Johnson added.
