White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre has said there is "no indication" that the UFOs that have entered American airspace over the last week are aliens.
The press secretary addressed the speculation during a press briefing on Monday.
“I know there have been questions and concerns about this, but there is no — again, no indication — of aliens or extraterrestrial activity with these recent takedowns,” Jean-Pierre said at the briefing. “I wanted to make sure that the American people knew that, all of you knew that, and it was important for us to say that from here because we’ve been hearing a lot about it.”
“I love E.T. the movie, but I’m just going to leave it there,” Jean-Pierre added. White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre: “There is no indication of aliens or extraterrestrial activity with these recent takedowns.”

A reporter in the briefing room fired back, saying, “the truth is out there, Karine.”
Over the last week, there have been four reported unidentified flying objects addressed by US forces. The most recent one was shot down over Lake Huron in Michigan on Sunday.
Later that day, Gen. Glen VanHerck, commander of the North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command, declined to rule out that aliens were invading, according to a report from Politico.
After Jean-Pierre spoke, National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby spoke to the reporters, saying that the objects were unmanned and that no threats or communication signals had been detected.
“We have no specific reason to suspect that they were conducting surveillance of any kind,” Kirby said — but added that it could not be entirely ruled out.
“It’s difficult for me to say exactly what you can expect going forward. One of the reason that we think we’re seeing more is because we’re looking for more. As you heard General VanHerck mention last night, they have modified the filters and the gains — as we call it — of the radar capabilities to look more discreetly at high altitude, small radar cross section, and low speed objects,” Kirby said.
Kirby said that the reason for the increased sightings may be that they are now actively looking for them.
“I don’t think the American people need to worry about aliens with respect to these craft,” Kirby continued.
