WATCH: Hundreds of Jewish Pro-Ceasefire Protesters Gather Outside Sen. Schumer’s Home, Call for America to Stop Arming Israel

Hundreds of Jewish pro-ceasefire protesters gathered outside Sen. Chuck Schumer's home in Brooklyn, New York, on Tuesday.

At least 100 of the demonstrators were arrested by the NYPD after refusing to leave.

The protesters were holding a "Seder in the Streets" on the second day of the Jewish Passover holiday and demanding the United States "Stop Arming Israel."

The Seder protest was a joint effort from Jewish Voice for Peace, If Not Now, and Jews for Racial & Economic Justice.

"This Passover protest comes as the Senate prepares to send an additional $14.1 billion in weapons to the Israeli military, ushering through a slushfund to the Israeli military just after a mass grave of 300+ Palestinians was uncovered at the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Younis," the New York chapter of Jewish Voice for Peace wrote in a post on X.

The organization continued, "We refuse to let our traditions be used to starve, displace, and massacre Palestinians. Taking seriously the mandate of the Jewish holiday of liberation requires us to show up with everything we have on the doorsteps of those still arming and funding these historic atrocities."

The protesters could be heard chanting “Stop Funding Genocide” in videos from the scene, as police warned that they were blocking traffic and would be subject to arrest if they did not leave.

According to a report from the New York Post, at least 100 people were arrested, but the NYPD did not release the exact number as of late Tuesday evening.

Breitbart News reports, "A seder is a Passover holiday meal, which includes songs, stories, reading, and eating special foods, along with other traditions. For those who live in Israel, it is held on the first night of Passover, but for those outside of Israel, it is held on the first two nights of Passover."
