Actor Alec Baldwin was escorted by police out of a pro-Palestine protest in New York City after getting into a heated confrontation with one of the protesters.
The scene, which was captured on camera, unfolded during a rally in Manhattan on Monday.
The video shows the actor speaking to several protesters and saying, “That’s my business. That’s my business.” Alec Baldwin loses it and appears as if he wants to physically assault a protestor after they demand that he condemn Israel’s genocide in Palestine 👀 pic.twitter.com/oB8F0aRoNU

"You work for Hollywood, do you condemn Israel?" a protester can be heard asking.
“You’ve already made up your mind … every question you’ve got, right?” Baldwin responded. “I’m in Hollywood’s pockets, you said? You ask stupid questions. Ask me a smart question! Ask a smart question!” "That's a stupid question..."

Baldwin appeared to shove himself up against one of the protesters.
As police ushered the actor away, a protester can be heard shouting “Go f-ck yourself” and “Why did you even come here?”
Baldwin did not intend to end up at the pro-Palestine rally and was on his way "to volunteer to teach an acting class," an unnamed source told Us Weekly.
The insider said Baldwin had “no intention of going to the protest and was not involved in any way.”
“He was approached aggressively and repeatedly,” the source told Us. “The police stepped in to avoid further confrontation so he could make his way to the class safely.”
The report said, "Baldwin was walking by the protest near West 29th Street when ralliers spotted him and accused him of supporting Israel in the current Israel-Hamas war. After getting in multiple scuffles with the demonstrators, NYPD stepped in to escort the 30 Rock alum toward a building entrance."
Baldwin has previously been outspoken about his liberal politics.
In 2021, he fatally shot a cinematographer on the set of the movie Rust, while filming in New Mexico.
Baldwin had been pointing a prop gun at cinematographer Halyna Hutchins during a rehearsal when it went off.
The actor has long claimed that he did not pull the trigger.
USA Today reported last month, "Special prosecutors initially dismissed an involuntary manslaughter charge against Baldwin in April, saying they were informed the gun might have been modified before the shooting and malfunctioned. They later pivoted after receiving a new analysis of the gun and will ask a grand jury to consider recharging Baldwin."
