Former President Donald Trump issued a Thanksgiving statement on Thursday that continued to hint at a potential 2024 run.
Trump asserted that "we will be great again."
The statement was shared on Twitter by his spokeswoman, Liz Harrington.
"A very interesting time in our Country, but do not worry, we will be great again—and we will all do it together. America will never fail, and we will never allow it to go in the wrong direction," Trump's statement began. NEW!

"America will never fail, and we will never allow it to go in the wrong direction. Too many generations of greatness are counting on us. Enjoy your Thanksgiving knowing that a wonderful future lies ahead!"
The statement was a play on his 2016 campaign slogan, leading many to speculate that he is planning a campaign.
Earlier this month, the former president told Fox News that he was waiting until after the 2022 midterm elections to announce if he is running or not.
"I am certainly thinking about it and we’ll see," Trump said. "I think a lot of people will be very happy, frankly, with the decision, and probably will announce that after the midterms."
Trump continued on to say that he believes that timeline was "probably appropriate."
"It doesn’t mean I will," Trump said. "It’s probably appropriate, but a lot of people are waiting for that decision to be made."
He added, "a lot of great people who are thinking about running are waiting for that decision, because they’re not going to run if I run."
