Former President Donald Trump agreed to three debates with Vice President Kamala Harris during his Thursday Mar-a-Lago press conference.
Trump announced the press conference in a Thursday morning post to Truth Social.
During the press conference, Trump agreed to three debates with Harris scheduled for Sept. 4 with Fox News, Sept. 10 with NBC News, and Sept. 25 with ABC News.
"I look forward to the debates because I think we have to set the record straight," Trump said.
Trump also said CBS would host the vice-presidential debate with his running mate Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance and Harris' VP pick Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

Trump also commented on President Joe Biden's exit from the 2024 presidential race, saying his campaign was taken from him by the Democratic Party
"The presidency was taken away from Biden — and I'm no Biden fan," he said of the president. "Whether he could win or he couldn't win, he had the right to run. They said we can do it the nice way or the hard way. What they've done is incredible."
The former president went on to note Harris had not received a vote for president during the Democratic primary, also adding she was the "first loser" of the 2020 Democratic primary after failing to garner delegates.
Shortly after announcing the press conference on Truth Social, Trump said he would "expose Kamala" during their debate.
"I will expose Kamala during the debate the same way I exposed Crooked Joe, Hillary, and everyone else during the debates—only I think Kamala will be easier!" Trump wrote.
Trump was originally scheduled to debate Biden a second time in a September debate hosted by ABC News, though the debate was scrapped after Biden bowed out of the race. In late July, Fox News offered to host a Sept. 4 debate between Trump and Harris in Pennsylvania next month.
Though Harris' campaign alleged Trump had backed out of the originally scheduled debate with Biden, Trump noted the agreement was between himself and Biden. Trump later agreed to a Sept. 4 debate with Harris on Fox News.
It is unclear if the vice president will formally agree to the proposed debates with Trump.
