The Post Millennial, Dan Bongino's Website Hacked

The Post Millennial and Dan Bongino's website were hacked late Thursday night.

Around midnight Friday, both website homepages were replaced with a wall of text claiming to have been posted from the outlet's Senior Editor Andy Ngo announcing he had begun identifying as a transgender woman. Accompanying the text was a transparent transgender pride flag as the site's background.

Toward the bottom of the homepage, the hacker provided several hyperlinks to The Post Millennial's mailing lists, subscriber database, and personal details of writers and editors of the outlet.

"Dear Readers of The Post Millennial, I am writing to you today to share something deeply personal and important to me. For many years, I've felt a sense of disconnect between the gender I was assigned at birth and the one I truly am. After much soul-searching, I have come to the realization that I am a trans individual, and I would like to officially introduce myself as Angelina Ngo, a woman," the hacker wrote impersonating the outlet's senior editor.

"This decision has not been easy, and I understand that it may come as a surprise to some of you. However, I have spent countless hours reflecting on my identity, and this is the path that I feel is true to myself," the hacker's text continued:

As I begin this journey, I also want to take this opportunity to sincerely apologize to the LGBTQ community for any pain or harm my previous actions or words may have caused. I acknowledge that my past behavior has not always been supportive or understanding, and for that, I am truly sorry. I have come to understand the importance of empathy, acceptance, and love for all individuals, regardless of their gender identity or sexual orientation. I am committed to using my platform to advocate for the rights and well-being of the LGBTQ community, and to be a more compassionate and supportive ally in the future. I ask for your support, understanding, and patience as I embark on this new chapter of my life. I know that this may be difficult for some of you, but I hope that you can find it within yourselves to accept and love me for who I truly am.

"Thank you for taking the time to read this, and I look forward to sharing my life with you as Angelina Ngo, a woman and an ally to the LGBTQ community," the message concluded.

The hacker's message was removed shortly after and the site is currently under maintenance. Bongino's website has been fixed and is currently up and running.
