Donald Trump's campaign responded to Vice President Kamala Harris' remarks made during a Tuesday campaign stop which touted President Joe Biden's administration's efforts to bolster border security.
During a campaign stop in Georgia, Harris said she would "proudly put [her] record against [Trump] any day of the week" and accused him of killing a bipartisan border bill earlier this year.
"[Trump] has been talking a big game about securing our border, but he does not walk the walk," Harris said before referencing the bipartisan bill. "It was all set to pass, but at the last minute Trump directed his allies in the Senate to vote it down."
Trump's campaign responded to Harris' remarks by saying the presumptive Democratic nominee was being dishonest.
"Kamala is actually *BRAGGING* about her record on immigration," Trump War Room responded on X. "HERE ARE THE FACTS: As Border Czar, Kamala ferried 15+ million illegals directly into our communities. She thinks illegal immigration 'is NOT a crime.' She wants to abolish ICE."
"She thinks you're stupid," they added. Kamala is actually *BRAGGING* about her record on immigration.

Earlier Tuesday morning, the Trump campaign senior advisor posted an ad on X panning Harris' border record after being tasked with the issue by Biden in 2021.

The ad also highlighted murders of American citizens committed by illegal aliens throughout the country along with fears of a terrorist attack on U.S. soil. The ad concludes by labeling Harris as "failed, weak, [and] dangerously liberal."
The Harris campaign subsequently released their own ad touting her border record in response to the Trump campaign's ad claiming the vice president was in support of increasing border patrol agents and similarly claimed Trump killed the bipartisan border bill. "Every statement in Kamala’s border ad is an absolute lie. The truth is that President Trump handed the most secure border in history to the Biden-Harris Administration, and they opened it up by erasing every one of his good policies," the Trump campaign said. "As Border Czar, Kamala Harris has overseen the worst immigration crisis in American history, enabling drug cartels to smuggle deadly fentanyl across our border and allowing more than 11 million illegal criminals and terrorists from all over the world to enter our country. "
