Second Person Comes Forward With Grooming Allegations Against Ava Kris Tyson

A second person has come forward claiming to have been groomed by former Mr. Beast star "Ava" Kris Tyson.

Allegations against Tyson surfaced on YouTube earlier this month, though went viral after DramaAlert shared an X thread documenting the claims on Monday.

The Mr. Beast star has been accused of developing a sexual and inappropriate relationship with a 13-year-old and later meeting with that minor when they were 16. Tyson has also joked about selling nude pictures to the minor, according to posts on X, then-Twitter, dating back to 2018.

DramaAlert owner and fellow YouTuber Daniel Keem, who goes by Keemstar online, said Mr. Beast owner and creator James Donaldson, had connected him with the alleged minor, who uses the handle "Lava" online.

Lava claimed he was not groomed by Tyson, adding he met with Tyson while accompanied by his family and Mr. Beast's crew.

On Wednesday, a person by the name Nathan published two videos to X similarly alleging Tyson had engaged in sexually inappropriate conversation with him when he was a minor.

"Chris Tyson from Mr. Beast used me and manipulated me and did very inappropriate things with me while I was about 15 years old," Nathan said, adding he was friends with Lava at the time. "[Lava] claims he isn't a victim, but we all know he is, and we all know he probably got paid off."

Nathan went on to claim Lava was under a non-disclosure agreement for his previous work with Mr. Beast's gaming channel.

"[Lava] tried to get me to join Mr. Beast's gaming himself ... he's the one who sent me the contract and tried to get me to sign the NDA," he continued, adding he ended his friendship with Lava at that point. "I knew they were just trying to silence me. Me and him were both involved in running Chris' Discord server, helping him set up his Twitch streams and moderating them as well as other technical back-end things that he needed help with."

The gaming Discord channel had about 10 members that were minors, according to Nathan.

"This turned into us having lots of private conversations with Chris and playing video games with him for hours on end," Nathan said, adding he and Lava were not compensated for their work. "He would also frequently bring up sexual topics that were definitely not appropriate to bring up around 15-16-year-olds, especially with him being like I don't know 20, 21 years old."

Nathan claimed Tyson had sent him links to pornographic material, including cartoon anime porn known as "hentai."

"Not only that, but he had an NSFW bot in his Discord server before he made it public ... and he would use this NSFW bot to spam different [porn] images alongside all these fifteen-year-olds," he said. "He would also frequently call me 'dad' and 'daddy' as well as the others, which I guess we all just kinda took as a joke at the time."

"This is someone we looked up to at the time, we idolized, we thought was the coolest person in the world, so they couldn't really do anything wrong in our eyes," Nathan continued. "But looking back, I was definitely uncomfortable at being called 'daddy' by a 20-year-old. Even just thinking about it now, it's just uncomfortable."

Nathan said the Discord server in question later went public as Tyson's official server, though said he and Lava spent "multiple days scrubbing" the server of pornographic images and other unsavory language used by Tyson.

"This story is so much bigger and runs so much deeper than any of you really realize," Nathan concluded.

On Tuesday, Tyson announced a "permanent" departure from Mr. Beast, though denied allegations of grooming Lava.

"I would like to apologize for any of my past behavior or comments if it hurt or offended anyone. It was not my intent," Tyson wrote. "Seeing recent events we’ve mutually decided it’s best I permanently step away from all things MrBeast and social media to focus on my family and mental health."

Several hours after announcing a mutual departure from Mr. Beast, Tyson denied claims of grooming in an X thread.

"I want to add, I never groomed anyone," Tyson wrote. "The person who gets brought up in these accusations, Lava, has vocally supported that they are false."

"Having said that, I humbly apologize to anyone I have hurt with my unacceptable social media posts, past actions, and to those who may feel betrayed by how I used to act online," the former Mr. Beast star continued in another post.

However, Tyson then claimed critics were conflating "edgy jokes" with sexual behavior.

"To lump these two factors together to create a narrative that my behavior extended beyond bad edgy jokes is disgusting and did not happen," Tyson continued. "In past years, I have learned that my old humor is not acceptable. I cannot change who I was, but I can continue to work on myself."

Tyson concluded the thread by noting the split from Mr. Beast was made in the best interest of Donaldson's other employees who could have been impacted by allegations made against Tyson.

Other allegations levied against Tyson include commissioning artwork depicting sexually suggestive images of children from controversial artist Shaddai Prejean, also known as Shadman.

Former employees of Mr. Beast have claimed Donaldson was aware of Tyson's behavior behind the scenes.

On Wednesday night, Mr. Beast issued a statement announcing Tyson had been fired and an investigation would be conducted into the allegations.

"Over the last few days, I’ve become aware of the serious allegations of Ava Tyson's behavior online and I am disgusted and opposed to such unacceptable acts," Mr. Beast wrote. "During that time, I have been focused on hiring an independent third party to conduct a thorough investigation to ensure I have all the facts."

"That said, I’ve seen enough online and taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel, and any association with MrBeast," he continued. "I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions."

"I will allow the independent investigators the necessary time to conduct a comprehensive investigation and will take any further actions based on their findings," Donaldson concluded.
