The comedian joked that he had attempted to garner endorsements from the Clintons, Obamas, Klaus Schwab, and George Soros to no avail

Russell Brand Endorses Kennedy in Comedic Video

Comedian and podcaster Russell Brand has endorsed independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. for president this November.

The comedian endorsed Kennedy in a comedic video posted to the presidential candidate's X account.

In the video, Kennedy receives a mock phone call from Brand, who says he's trying to secure endorsements for Kennedy.

"I've tried the Clintons. I've tried George Soros, Bill Gates," Brand says. "I tried the Obamas. I thought they might be good — well, at least brand recognition."

The comedian then says nobody is interested in backing Kennedy's presidential campaign.

"Not Newsom. Not Soros. None of 'em," Brand continued. "Even Klaus Schwab — I mean, I think he said no. I couldn't tell. He had a lot of saliva in his mouth."

Kennedy thanks Brand for his help, though asks if the comedian has read any of his books or seen any of his social media activity.

"I've sued most of those guys," Kennedy says. "And I think that's not a list of names that I would expect to endorse me. Although, I'd be flattered."

"The good news is that I am endorsing you," Brand responds, though notes he cannot vote as a British citizen. "But I think what we're probably gonna require is actual American people to get up and vote for you."

Brand then appears startled, saying: "Bobby, I think the globalists surrounded me! That's a CIA plane."

As the video concludes, Kennedy's dogs can be heard barking in the background, prompting the comedian to reference Kennedy's alleged picture with a deceased dog and brain worm stories, which cropped up in the past several months.

Kennedy launched his bid for the Democratic nomination in April 2023 though announced he would run as an independent candidate in October.

In late March, Kennedy announced attorney Nicole Shanahan as his running mate.

Critics of his selection noted Shanahan, who is the ex-wife of Google co-founder Sergey Brin, has historically donated to Democratic politicians and was a proponent of progressive criminal justice policies and abortion access.
