Joe Rogan mocked CNN after Stephen Colbert called the outlet "objective" during a recent broadcast of his late-night talk show.
CNN's Kaitlan Collins was the guest during Tuesday's broadcast of The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.
During the broadcast, Colbert told Collins that he believed CNN was a trustworthy news outlet.
"I know you guys are objective over there, that you just report the news as it is," Colbert said of Collins and CNN, prompting the audience to erupt with laughter.
Rogan discussed Colbert's remarks during a Wednesday broadcast of The Joe Rogan Experience.
“How crazy is that? The audience is like shut the f--- up. That is hilarious,” Rogan said. “They thought he was being a joker. They thought that was a joke."
"That’s how crazy this world has gotten, where f---ing CNN being unbiased is a joke to people in the audience. That’s so crazy," the comedian added. WATCH: Joe Rogan Cracks Up as Crowd LAUGHS at Colbert’s CNN ‘Reports the News as It Is’ Comment

“If you were running a business, what did you accomplish by doing things that way? You’ve ruined your business because now, people think you’re full of s--- and you could’ve just been actual, just straightforward journalists and been beyond reproach and probably gotten away with … but you wouldn’t have got as much money,” he continued. “They wouldn’t have gotten as much money. You gotta get those ads in.”
After the audience erupted with laughter, Collins asked Colbert if his remark was intended to be a joke.
"It wasn't supposed to be, but I guess it is," Colbert coyly responded.
Collins went on to discuss President Joe Biden's exit from the 2024 presidential race late last month.
"I don't think it took us by surprise," Collins responded. "I think as a political reporter, the way to be smart and have a long career is you don't make bets or assumptions. You just follow the story as it happens."
Collins conceded there were signs pointing toward Biden's exit from the race, though said the president was "quite stubborn."
Earlier in the broadcast, Collins said she believed that Vice President Kamala Harris would likely win the election if it were held today.
The CNN host also suggested that former President Donald Trump was unsure of how to campaign against Harris after Biden's exit from the 2024 race last month.
"[Trump] knew his attack lines on President Biden," Collins said. "He really has struggled with how to go after someone who's 20 years younger than him, different gender, different race."
Collins said Trump had struggled to "coalesce around a single attack line" against Harris.
