Fox News White House correspondent Peter Doocy made waves by asking White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre why the president is "treated like a baby."
The unexpected question came during Tuesday's press briefing.
President Joe Biden will be 81 in November.

“No one treats the President of the United States, the Commander-in-Chief, like a baby,” Jean-Pierre fired back.
“So, there’s this book that says—” Doocy began.
Jean-Pierre cut him off, saying, “That’s ridiculous, it’s a ridiculous claim.” "Why does White House staff treat Joe Biden like a baby?"

Doocy was referencing The Last Politician by Atlantic writer Franklin Foe, which states, “rather than owning his [Biden’s] failure, he fumed to friends how he was treated like a toddler. Was [former President] John Kennedy ever babied like that?”
“I’ll say this, there is always going to be a range of books that are about every administration, as you know, that’s going to have a variety of claims. That is not unusual, that happens all the time and we’re not going to litigate here. That’s not something that we are going to speak to,” Jean-Pierre said.
Doocy went on to question the press secretary about a Wall Street Journal poll that found two-thirds of Democrats believe the president is “too old” for a second term. Doocy: "Why do you think it is that, in the @WSJ poll, 2/3rds of Democrats think...Biden is too old to run again?
