A Penn State professor who was arrested for raping his dog has been hit with additional charges for filming himself inserting a tree branch and a lollipop in his rear at a public park.
Themis Matsoukas, 64, a chemical engineering professor, took his dog to Rothrock State Forest in June 2023, got naked from the waist down, and then committed "perverted sex acts" on the collie, including trying to coerce the animal to lick his anus.
The perverted professor recorded himself using a tablet, but the incident was also captured on a trail camera at the park.
Once he was identified, rangers from the Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources searched his home.
During the search, Matsoukas begged the rangers to kill him. He also told them that he sexually abuses his dog "to blow off steam."
“I’m done, I’m dead, you don’t understand, I do it to blow off steam,” he was quoted telling police. “What do I have to do to get you to shoot me? I need to die.”
Matsoukas was charged with open lewdness, indecent exposure, and sexual intercourse with an animal, misdemeanors, and summary charges of cruelty to animals and disorderly conduct, according to a report from the New York Post at the time.
The disgraced professor is now facing additional charges after 55 videos were found on electronic devices seized from his home.
In the videos, Matsoukas was wearing only a ski mask while "masturbating on a picnic table, in a lake at the park and on Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources (DCNR) vehicles," according to a report from the New York Post.
The report explains:Matsoukas was also seen climbing a tree while naked, and inserting a tree branch, a Tootsie Pop and the control handle of a DCNR John Deere crawler in his anus, officials said.
The accused perv also allegedly defecated in public areas of Rothrock State Forest and in a maintenance area next to DCNR equipment, as well as smeared bodily fluids on a glass table at a lease camp, Onward State said.
The gross footage was reportedly captured at Alan Seeger State Park, four lease camps and two private properties surrounded by state forest land, according to the affidavit cited by the outlet.
According to the report, Matsoukas new charges include two felony counts each of burglary and criminal trespass, six misdemeanor counts of indecent exposure, two misdemeanor counts of open lewdness, two misdemeanor counts of disorderly conduct, and six summary counts of disorderly conduct for obscene gestures.
Matsoukas has reportedly been committing explicit sexual acts in the park since at least 2014.
On Monday, Matsoukas was released on $50,000 unsecured bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for February 21.
Matsoukas has worked for Penn State since 1991 but has been on leave since his initial arrest last year.
