Nicki Minaj Comments On Tom MacDonald, Ben Shapiro Track

Rapper Nicki Minaj commented on fellow rapper Tom MacDonald's latest track featuring conservative political commentator and podcaster Ben Shapiro.

MacDonald's track "Facts," released Friday, features the rapper and Shapiro and discusses the cultural politics of Black Lives Matter (BLM), efforts to defund the police, and the LGBTQ+ community. "Facts" hit the #1 overall spot on the iTunes shortly after its premiere.

During Shapiro's verse, the pundit jokingly takes aim at Minaj, saying, "Nicki take notes."

"I just did this for fun / All my people download this / Let's get a Billboard number one," Shapiro raps.

Minaj commented on the track in a Saturday X post.

"I just listened to it, Ben Shapiro. Not Bad," she wrote. "Congrats on the #1."

"It def sounds like 'Roman's Revenge' when the beat first came in ... idk," she added comparing the intro of "Facts" to her 2010 track "Roman's Revenge."

In another post, Minaj commented on Shapiro's verse.

"Ben Shapiro put out a diss record. He said his comment sections are filled with woke Karens. The song is #1 on U.S. iTunes," she wrote adding laughing and crying emojis. "what is rlly happening and who is that other man rapping???? Is this real life??!!"

"He said 'Nicki take some notes,'" her post continued with more laughing emojis. "AYO Nah."

Following the track's release, Shapiro made a series of jokes about his involvement in the project on X.

"Hey, Nicki Minaj, it's great to join you atop the iTunes rap charts," Shapiro wrote as the song rose up through iTunes' charts. "Sorry, correction, you're a few slots lower."

"I guess we all know who the real Slim Shady is now," Shapiro wrote in another post featuring his song above "Doomsday Pt. 2" by Lyrical Lemonade which features fellow rapper Eminem.

Shapiro also took aim at rapper Megan Thee Stallion.

"Hey Megan, we're coming for thee," he wrote in another post featuring a picture of his and MacDonald's song behind Megan Thee Stallion's track "HISS."

"Also, Nicki Minaj is right about your flow," he continued in a follow-up post.

"I just want to thank God, Tom MacDonald, and my parents, who paid for 15 years of classical violin lessons so I could become the #1 rapper in America," Shapiro wrote.

"Shabbat shalom, from my hip-hop household to yours," Shapiro wrote in another post.

The conservative podcaster also added "America’s #1 Rapper" to his X bio.

Upon reaching the #1 overall spot on iTunes, Shapiro noted the track had surpassed other legacy artists.

"On the way, we knocked off, among others, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears, Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, Eminem, and Taylor Swift," he wrote.

"Tom MacDonald and I have officially made hip-hop great again, as was always my lifelong dream," Shapiro concluded.
