A new poll released on Friday has Vice President Kamala Harris up five points over former President Donald Trump for the 2024 election.
The poll was conducted by pro-Trump Scott Rasmussen's firm RMG Research — not to be confused with polling company Rasmussen Reports.
According to an X post by RMG Research, which did not include full data, the company polled 3,000 registered voters from July 29-31, 2024.

Harris is also the current favorite to win on political betting website PredictIt, which is a large online political prediction market, often called a "stock market for politics." US Election #PredictIt Probability:

On Thursday, bets on Trump winning were 50 cents, while Harris was 53 cents. Those prices had remained consistent on Friday afternoon.
