Nancy and Paul Pelosi Booed at Chiefs vs. Ravens Game in Baltimore

Nancy and Paul Pelosi were booed as they arrived at the Kansas City Chiefs vs. Baltimore Ravens American Football Conference Championship game on Sunday.

Pelosi was born and raised in Baltimore but has represented San Francisco in Congress for 19 terms, leading her to be both a fan of the Ravens and the 49ers.

According to a report from the Daily Mail, the Pelosis were booed as they stepped out of a black SUV at the game in Baltimore.

"A security guard held people at bay, but boos were heard as the pair walked past smiling, despite the couple being big Ravens fans," the report said.

The incident does not appear to have been captured on video, but a photo of her arrival showed her to be all smiles.

The report continued:

Pelosi was born and raised in Baltimore, but has represented the district covering San Francisco for decades, so has had to split her loyalties between the Baltimore Ravens and the San Francisco 49ers.

When the two teams played each other at the Super Bowl in 2013, she told reporters: 'I am rooting for the 49ers, I am not rooting against Baltimore.'

Also in attendance at Sunday's game was Taylor Swift who celebrated wildly when her boyfriend Travis Kelce scored an early touchdown.

The Kansas City Chiefs won and will compete against the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII.
