Man Shoves Pro-Palestinian Protestors Blocking NYC Bridge

'I have a daughter in Brooklyn!'

Man Shoves Pro-Palestinian Protestors Blocking NYC Bridge

An angry man attempting to cross the Williamsburg Bridge in New York City shoved pro-Palestinian protestors blocking roadway.

The video features a crowd of people surrounding a man sitting in his vehicle as pro-Palestinian protestors are seen sitting across the entrance to the Williamsburg Bridge. Protestors blocking the bridge held signs reading "END THE OCCUPATION," "FREE ALL PALESTINIAN PROTESTORS," and "LIFT THE SIEGE ON GAZA."

"Don't touch my car," the agitated man instructs another man who appears to approach his vehicle.

Horns and other loud noises can be heard as the man in the vehicle shifts his attention to the crowd next to his car as he repeats, "Don't touch my car."

"You're disrupting traffic!" the man tells the crowd becoming increasingly more agitated. "You idiots! You can't do that! That's against the law!"

The man exits his vehicle warning he was "about to start throwing fists."

"I'm not gonna run y'all over," he says walking toward the front of his vehicle before pushing several men.

The agitated man continued his tussle with protestors while repeatedly instructing them to get away from his car.

"I have a daughter in Brooklyn!" he yells motioning towards the bridge. "Move the f--- out of the way!"

The man re-enters his vehicle as another man off camera can be heard yelling "run 'em over!"

"Get out of the way! I have to get home!" the man repeats as he begins slowly driving his car forward towards protestors.

Protestors are heard yelling as the man makes his way through the crowd before speeding down the Williamsburg Bridge.

Along with the Williamsburg Bridge blockage on Monday afternoon, other protests broke out in the city blocking roads including the Brookyn Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, and Holland Tunnel. Protestors blocking roads led to 325 arrests throughout the city, according to NYPD Chief John Chell.

"In lieu of summons, many protestors will face misdemeanor charges with a desk appearance ticket," Chell said.

Several hours after the incident, NYPD used power tools to disperse protestors who used PVC pipe to link together.
