Writer E. Jean Carroll once again predicted how she would spend the money won from her defamation lawsuit against former President Donald Trump.
On Tuesday night, Carroll appeared on MSNBC with her lawyers Roberta Kaplan and Shawn Crowley.
Host Rachel Maddow noted Carroll had mentioned using funds from her lawsuit to "shore up women's rights" and asked specifically how she would spend the money.
"Yes, Rachel!" Carroll said enthusiastically. "I had such great ideas for all the good I'm gonna do with this money."
Carroll said the first thing she would do is take Maddow shopping.
"We're gonna get completely new wardrobes, new shoes, motorcycle for Crowley, new fishing rod for Robbie," she said, pointing toward her lawyers. "Rachel, what do you want? Penthouse? It's yours!"
"France? You want France? You wanna go fishing in France?" Carroll continued.
Crowley noted "that's a joke" of Carroll's remarks.
"If me fishing in France could do something for women's rights, I would take the hit," Maddow said. "I'd take one for the team."
Carroll previously said she would "do something good" with her money won from the defamation suit in a Saturday interview with The New York Times.
"Iām going to be able to buy some premium dog food now," she said, in reference to her dogs.
"This win, more than any other thing, when we needed it the most ā after we lost the rights over our own bodies in many states ā we put out our flag in the ground on this one," Carroll continued. "Women won this one. I think it bodes well for the future."
Following Friday's ruling in favor of Carroll, Trump referred to the case as "absolutely ridiculous!"
"I fully disagree with both verdicts, and will be appealing this whole Biden Directed Witch Hunt focused on me and the Republican Party," he continued. "Our Legal System is out of control, and being used as a Political Weapon."
"They have taken away all First Amendment Rights," Trump wrote. "THIS IS NOT AMERICA!"
In another post, Trump called Carroll's allegations into question.
"She has been 'all over the place' on the timing of this alleged 'incident,' which never took place, and is being coached by Lunatic Radical Left Democrat operative attorney, Roberta Kaplan, who has sued me before, and just lost," Trump wrote. "I am the only one who has been injured by this attempted EXTORTION."
Trump noted the writer had gained fame and money over the course of the trial.
"Judge Kaplan should put this whole corrupt, Crooked Joe Biden-directed Election Interference attack on me immediately to rest," Trump wrote of Carroll's lawyer. "He should do it for America, because a President of the United States was accused of doing something he did not do by an UNKNOWN, TO HIM, woman seeking fame, fortune, and publicity for her ridiculous Book!"
The exact amount or timeframe for Carroll to receive her defamation suit payment is unclear as the former president's lawyer, Alina Habba, said they would "immediately" file an appeal to the New York court's Friday verdict.
