'Do Not Vote For Kamala!!!': Rapper Swae Lee Comes Out Against Harris Presidency

Rapper Khalif Malik Ibn Shaman Brown, known professionally as Swae Lee, came out against Vice President Kamala Harris' bid for presidency.

Over the weekend, Lee reposted a clip of Harris' debate with former Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard during the 2020 Democratic primary in which Gabbard took then-Senator Harris to task over her record as California's attorney general between 2011 and 2017.

The rapper then told his followers not to support Harris' bid for the presidency this November in a Saturday X post.

"Do not vote for Kamala !!!" the rapper wrote. "Do your research on that whole camp."

Lee followed up in another post detailing how he has been financially effected by President Joe Biden and Harris' administration's tax policies.

"I pay over millions in tax dollars every year this man Sent it to A whole nother country !!!!!!!!!" Lee wrote. "Those lil dollars that come off your checks they gave it away !!!!!!! Think about that s---."

In a third post, Lee panned the Biden-Harris administration's support for foreign aid while also criticizing black support for Harris.

"The money we sent away every American citizen could’ve got minimal 200 grand think about that but I guess we don’t need the s--- and y'all standing for Kamala," Lee wrote. "My black people she don’t do nothing but sign off on things against y'all ….(us) voting just cuz you think she’s black is not going to end in your favor."

The rapper then reposted the clip of Harris and Gabbard's debate, adding: "Y’all better pay attention ! And there’s a lot more."

One user criticized Lee's objection to Harris and claimed the rapper had not vocalized support for nor participated in rallies for Black Lives Matter.

"When them music checks tanked you're talking about politics," the user wrote. "You really [cooning] out right now."

"B---- I was in the streets marching during lock down shhhhh," Lee responded.

"Yes don't be brainwashed!! Kamala is a fraud," wrote comedian and Cousin T's founder Terrence K. Williams.

While Lee has not publicly endorsed former President Donald Trump's bid for reelection, other rappers, including Sexyy Red, Chief Keef, Kodak Black, Lil Pump, and Waka Flocka Flame, have thrown support behind Trump.
