Daily Wire Surpasses 1 Million Paid Subscribers

Conservative media outlet the Daily Wire announced they had surpassed 1 million paid subscribers amongst other updates on company projects in a Thursday livestream.

CEO Jeremy Boreing, who dubs himself the "god-king" of the Daily Wire, projected the company, which has has doubled their growth year-over-year since it's founding in 2015, would reach nearly $200 million in revenue by the end of the year. In 2021, the Daily Wire reported $100 million in revenue.

Daily Wire+ has garnered upwards of 90 million followers across social media platformers, generating 80 million monthly podcast downloads.

“One million active subscribers makes us one of the most successful conservative media companies of all time,” said Boreing. “It took us five years to get our first 100,000 active subscribers. But we doubled down, reached higher, pushed harder and, just two-and-a-half years later, we’ve 10 Xed that number.”

“But it isn’t even a drop in the bucket compared to the media companies currently in service of the left. In that world, 10 million subscribers is the bare minimum just to play the game,” Boreing continued. “To succeed in our effort to create a true news and entertainment alternative for the millions of Americans tired of the hegemony of the woke giants, we have to grow 10X, and then we have to grow 10X again.”

Along with paid subscriptions, Boreing announced the company's side projectJeremy's Razors, had sold over 100,000 subscriptions.

One of the company's newest podcast endeavors, The Comment Section With Brett Cooper, has reportedly reached 1.4 million subscribers and 500 million total views on YouTube.

In June, the Daily Wire announced their partnership with psychologist and best-selling author Dr. Jordan Peterson, who brought his back-catalog of essays, podcasts, and videos.

Last year, the Daily Wire ventured into entertainment, releasing their first feature-length film, Run, Hide, Fight. In February, the company released their first original film Shut In followed by The Hyperions in March. The Daily Wire released Terror on the Prairie starring Gina Carano, formerly of Disney+'s The Mandalorian and UFC fighter Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone.

The company also released two feature-length documentaries this year, including Matt Walsh's What is a Woman? and Candace Owens' The Greatest Lie Ever Sold: George Floyd and the Rise of BLM.

During Thursday's town hall, Boreing announced the Daily Wire was currently developing and producing an adaptation of Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged. The Company also secured the option to develop and produce feature film and television series adaptations for Stephen R. Lawhead's series The Pendragon Cycle.

Boreing announced updates on their PragerU Masters Course in partnership with PragerU's Dennis Prager, which will be released in December. Two new children's show were announced as part of the company's venture into children's entertainment, including A Wonderful Day With Mabel Maclay and The Zoodles Show. The "god-king" also revealed previously announced children's show currently in production Chip Chilla had tapped comedian Rob Schneider to voice the show's patriarchal character Chum Chum Chilla.
