A New Hampshire crowd chanted "VP!" as Vivek Ramaswamy joined former President Donald Trump at a campaign stop in New Hampshire on Tuesday.

Trump was holding a campaign rally at Atkinson Country Club in Atkinson when Ramaswamy joined him.

Ramaswamy dropped out of the race on Monday evening after gaining about eight percent of the vote in the Iowa caucuses.

While suspending his campaign, Ramaswamy gave a strong endorsement for Trump.

“As I’ve said since the beginning, there are two America First candidates in this race. And earlier tonight, I called Donald Trump to tell him that I congratulate him on his victory, and now going forward, you will have my full endorsement for the presidency,” Ramaswamy said at his campaign party on Monday night.

The next day, he hit the campaign trail with his former rival.

"We need a Commander-in-Chief who will lead us to victory in this war," Ramaswamy said while introducing Trump.

As Trump joined him, the crowd loudly chanted "VP! VP! VP!"

“Wow, how was that? Pretty good, right?” Trump said of Ramaswamy. “That was pretty good, and he’s a fantastic guy and he’s really, uh, he’s got something that’s very special because he started off with a Zippo and he’s got– he ended up very strong. He did a great job.”

Trump said that he was "actually surprised" when Ramaswamy called to say that he was dropping out because he was doing "really well."

The Republican frontrunner then declared that Ramaswamy is "going to be working with us for a long time."

"Tonight I officially called on Ron DeSantis & Nikki Haley to drop out and endorse Trump. Our base spoke loud & clear last night. Now it’s our job to follow their mandate and revive this country. America-First, always," Ramaswamy posted on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
