'Class Act': Loomer Praises Ramaswamy After Entrepreneur Endorses Trump

Investigative journalist Laura Loomer praised entrepreneur and former GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy as a "class act."

Loomer, an ardent supporter of former President Donald Trump, said she received a phone call from Ramaswamy, who told her he had congratulated Trump on his historic victory in last night's Iowa caucus. Ramaswamy, who suspended his campaign last night, also told Loomer he was endorsing the former president for re-election.

"He is a class act," Loomer wrote of Ramaswamy. "President Trump likes Vivek. And so do I."

Loomer said she always respected Ramaswamy' stance on America First policies and added his campaign was "inspiring" and "impressive" for an "outsider candidate."

"Vivek was always open to conversation with me and came on my show even though I am a Trump supporter and asked Vivek to drop out LIVE on my show," Loomer wrote. "He stood against Weaponized government and was always pro-free speech."

The investigative journalist said Ramaswamy's work ethic was "admirable," noting the entrepreneur had "outworked" his competitors by campaigning at over 200 events in Iowa compared to Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis' 99 and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley's 51.

Loomer also addressed their brief spat over the weekend in which she criticized Ramaswamy's sentiment that his nomination as the Republican candidate would be Trump's best chance at averting future political persecution in a series of X posts.

"But, last night proved to me that Vivek is committed to Making America Great Again and he told me this morning he is going to do all he can to help get President Trump elected in 2024," she wrote. "Vivek is a good man who used his own money to spread his America First message, and his staff are passionate people who also believe in MAGA."

Loomer requested Trump and "MAGA" supporters to "stand down" on attacks against Ramaswamy and "welcome" him into the fray.

Ramaswamy said he respected and commended Loomer's loyalty to Trump, the investigative journalist said.

"It takes a real man with character to pick up the phone can [sic] call a woman who sparred with him publicly," Loomer wrote of Ramaswamy, adding he has "humility" and was "realistic."

"My heart was always in the right place and I was never malicious in my criticism of his campaign in the last 48 hours before the Iowa Caucus," she continued. "I am proud of Vivek for inspiring younger voters and for putting his country before his ego, and I am looking forward to working alongside him and his team like Tricia McLaughlin to help get President Trump back into the White House."

Loomer said Ramaswamy was "the future for 2028."

"I’d love to see him in Trump’s administration in some capacity," she wrote. "I’d love to see him as RNC Chair. He is a leader."

Loomer said Ramaswamy's energy was "contagious" and noted he was "genuine."

"His phone call to me this morning proved to me that he is really serious about uniting with Trump’s loyalists and he’s not interested in running a delusional campaign like Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis," she concluded. "We are going to take our country back through hard work, passion, and TRUTH!!!"
