A whopping 82 percent of Americans have said that they are concerned about Biden's "health and mental acuity," according to a Yahoo News/YouGov poll published in May. The pollsters found that 64 percent of Americans believe Biden is "too old." This figure includes 48 percent of Democrats and 69 percent of independents.

At the time, the White House blamed the fall on the stairs on the wind.
"It's pretty windy outside, it's very windy. I almost fell coming up the steps myself. He is doing 100% fine," White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre said at the time.
