BREAKING: Anti-Second Amendment Activists Storm Tennessee State Capitol (VIDEOS)

Thousands of leftist activists demanding gun control stormed the Tennessee State Capitol on Thursday afternoon.

Immediately, the treatment of these protesters compared to those on January 6 became a topic of discussion on social media — with right-wing commentators referring to the Tennessee Capitol breach as an "insurrection."

Before the building was breached, Tennessee State Representative Justin Jones spoke at a rally outside.

"No action, no peace," said Rep. Jones. "I just walked out of the house chamber because nothing we are talking about in there is important as we are talking about our here."

Rep. Jones appeared to be stoking the tension throughout the rally and subsequent building storming. He also went into the building with the protesters and began confronting his peers.

Fox 17 Nashville reports, "the politician and activist also added that lawmakers inside the capitol building are 'scared' and said to close the doors because they did not want to hear people rallying for gun laws."

The rally was in response to a transgender school shooter, Audrey Hale, 28, killing three nine-year-old children and three adult staff members at the Covenant School in Nashville on Monday.
