Bill Burr Takes On Late-Night Talk Show Hosts Discussing Trump

Comedian Bill Burr said Jimmy Kimmel and other late-night hosts should "shut up" about former President Donald Trump.

Earlier this week, Kimmel and Burr discussed the upcoming presidential election and the former President's series of indictments he has received this year.

“You want to see a great case thing on narcissism,” Burr told Kimmel. “Liberals are so f---ing stupid, the way that they handle Trump.”

Kimmel asked Burr to clarify, to which the comedian said the late-night talk show host should "shut up" about the former President.

“[Trump's] a narcissist," Burr continued. "Neutral energy. Neutral.”

Kimmel pushed back and asked if Burr thought Trump would "go away" if late-night talk show hosts stopped talking about the former President.

The comedian said he believed Trump was a "one-hit wonder."

“He wrote ‘The Twist’ and that was it," Burr said. "He was on the casino circuit.”

“And then you idiot liberals wrote him ‘Twist Again’ when you indicted him,” Burr added. “And now he’s a martyr."

The comedian warned Kimmel that Trump would return.

"He’s coming back, Jimmy," Burr said. "He’s coming back. It’s going to be great for comedy. He’s coming back.”

Burr expressed disdain over the former president and President Joe Biden's potential re-match next November.

“I can’t believe these are honestly going to be our two choices,” Burr told Kimmel. “I want somebody in their 40s. Somebody that’s going to have to live with their decision.”

“With any luck, they’ll both die of natural causes before the election, and maybe you could get somebody that still has something to live for,” he added.

President Biden celebrated his 81st birthday on Nov. 20th, while the former president turned 77 in June.

According to RealClearPolitics, Trump currently holds a commanding 47.5-point lead over GOP runner-up and Florida Governor Ron DeSantis. The Florida governor leads fellow Republican presidential candidate and former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley by 3.2 points, followed by entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie.

In a general election, the polling data aggregation site shows Trump leading Biden by an average of 2.1 points.
