Ana Kasparian Calls for Asylum-Seekers Who Attacked Cops to be 'Deported Immediately'

“The Young Turks” co-host Ana Kasparian is taking heat from her fellow progressives after she called for migrants who attacked police officers to be “deported immediately.”

Kasparian was discussing a mob of asylum-seekers that attacked two New York Police Department officers in Times Square on Saturday night. Seven were arrested and were quickly released without bail.

The progressive YouTube personality responded on her show, saying that seeking asylum here is a privilege, not a right.

The clip was posted on social media by a leftist detractor who wrote, "Ana Kasparian seems to have forgotten that seeking asylum is an internationally recognized human RIGHT not privilege."

Kasparian responded, "They’re mad that I spoke out against asylum seekers who ganged up on and beat cops. One of them has a record of beating retail workers while robbing their stores."

"I think those who commit violent acts should be deported immediately. Shelters are crowded and their space can be used by people more deserving. This is common sense," Kasparian wrote in a follow-up tweet.

Kasparian has been frequently criticized by her fellow leftists for breaking with them on issues including the use of terms like "birthing person" to be "inclusive" of people who identify as transgender.

“I’m a woman. Please don’t ever refer to me as a person with a uterus, birthing person, or person who menstruates. How do people not realize how degrading this is? You can support the transgender community without doing this shit,” Kasparian wrote in a post on X last year.
