Trump Suggests Joe Rogan Will be ‘BOOED’ Over RFK Jr. Comments

Former president Donald Trump suggested his supporters will boo Joe Rogan at the next Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) event.

“It will be interesting to see how loudly Joe Rogan gets BOOED the next time he enters the UFC Ring??? MAGA2024,” he wrote on Truth Social Friday afternoon.

Though he didn’t specify exactly what prompted the comment, Trump was likely referring to comments Rogan made in a viral video wherein he complimented independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

“That's politics. They do it on the left. They do it on the right. They gaslight you, they manipulate you. They promote narratives,” the host of The Joe Rogan Experience says in the clip, which currently has 4 million views.

"The only one who's not doing that is Robert F. Kennedy Jr,” he continued. “I am a fan. He's the only one that makes sense to me. He doesn't attack people. He attacks actions and ideas. He’s much more reasonable and intelligent."

“He’s a legitimate guy,” Rogan added after lauding Kennedy for being an environmental lawyer who “cleaned up the East River.”

After the comedian’s comments were widely reported as an endorsement, some high-profile Trump supporters slammed the podcaster. The backlash against Rogan was described by The New Republic as “MAGA Chaos.”

“So - I’ve never been a Joe Rogan fan - can’t stand him - yes he has a popular podcast, but I’ve always thought he was absolutely politically dumb - he’s great at figuring things out 2 years after we do,” Catturd told his 2.7 million followers. “What a legend. So did it surprise me when he endorsed idiot RFK jr today? LOL! No.”

The X user then referred to Rogan as “the podcast Equivalent of a dumb blonde joke” who “endorsed Bernie Sanders.”

Rogan clarified his stance in a Friday afternoon X post.

“For the record, this isn’t an endorsement,” he said. “This is me saying that I like RFKjr [sic] as a person, and I really appreciate the way he discusses things with civility and intelligence. I think we could use more of that in this world.”

Rogan added: “I also think Trump raising his fist and saying ‘fight!’ after getting shot is one of the most American f------ things of all time.”

“I’m not the guy to get political information from,” he said before recommending the guidance of libertarian comedian Dave Smith.

"He actually knows what he’s talking about," Rogan said.

“Trump supporters have a lot of nerve flipping out because Joe Rogan said some nice things about RFK,” Smith said in an X post. “During the greatest assault on liberty in modern US history, Trump praised lockdowns, demonized countries not locking down and brags to this day about the bs vax.”

Timcast owner and CEO Tim Pool responded to the backlash against Rogan by trolling with a post claiming he would vote for Kennedy.

Though the independent candidate initially took the post at face value, Pool later confirmed he will be voting for Trump.

“There's no real argument against voting Trump but f--- me some of these die hard magas are as destructive as the leftists,” he wrote.

During a 2022 interview with Lex Fridman, Rogan said he was not a Trump supporter “in any way, shape or form.”

“I've had the opportunity to have him on my show more than once, I've said no every time, I don't want to help him, I'm not interested in helping him,” he said at the time.
