Ramaswamy Calls Out CNN, Fox for Omitting Him from Iowa Caucus Coverage

Entrepreneur and Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy criticized CNN and Fox News for omitting him from Iowa caucus coverage.

This morning, Ramaswamy shared a photo on X of a television screen featuring a map of Iowa alongside the faces of three Republican presidential candidates – former President Donald Trump, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley.

“I was in the Fox News studio in Des Moines this morning and noticed something interesting: they forgot one candidate tonight,” the entrepreneur wrote. “I’ll trust them to fix it.”

“Have they fixed it?” X owner Elon Musk asked.

Ramaswamy shared Musk’s comment and tagged Fox News, asking the outlet outright, “is this fixed?”

Ramaswamy also accused CNN of “pulling the same move.”

The candidate shared a post from News Nomad featuring a clip from a CNN broadcast featuring Kaitlan Collins and John King discussing polling numbers for Trump, DeSantis, and Haley.

“SUSPICIOUS: CNN is caught snubbing Vivek Ramaswamy entirely during caucus-eve coverage,” wrote News Nomad, noting that long-shot candidate Asa Hutchinson was referenced in the coverage.

The user added, “Is CNN trying to Ron Paul Vivek?” – a reference to the libertarian Texas representative’s 2016 bid for the presidency.

“This is how the MSM does it,” Ramaswamy said in a post sharing the video. “It’s not really ‘writing fake stories,’ it’s the intentional failure to cover what people actually deserve to know.”

“Does seem like Vivek should at least be on the list of candidates covered by the media,” Musk commented on a post claiming Ramaswamy’s first event of the day offered standing room only.

According to RealClearPolitics, Trump holds a commanding 49.4-point lead over Haley. DeSantis trails Haley by 1.3 points, per the polling aggregator.

Ramaswamy is currently polling at 4.3 points – .7 points ahead of former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who suspended his campaign last week. Former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson is polling at .7 points.
