Kamala Harris’ Official Website Lists No Policy Positions Or Platform

During a virtual roll call last week, Vice President Kamala Harris secured enough votes from Democratic Party delegates to win the party’s nomination for president.

With only 15 days remaining before the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, political analysts, pundits, and social media users are noting that Harris’s official campaign website lacks any mention of policies she plans to advance should she win this fall’s presidential election.

Visitors to the site are greeted by a landing page soliciting donations in amounts of $25, $47, $100, $250, $5,000, or another amount. Contributions are processed through ActBlue, a Democratic fundraising platform that has faced allegations of money laundering.

Upon navigating to Harris’s homepage, supporters are prompted to enter their email addresses and phone numbers, and can find links to learn about her record, volunteer, or purchase campaign merchandise. However, the site does not mention a single policy priority she would pursue as commander-in-chief, leaving voters with lingering questions about how she would govern if elected.

The closest the site comes to outlining her platform is a general statement promising to “continue protecting our freedoms, delivering justice, and expanding opportunity so that every American can not just get by, but get ahead.”

In contrast, her top rival, former President Donald Trump, prominently features a link to his “Agenda 47 Platform” on the first page, despite having already established his bonafides serving four years as president.

Trump outlines 20 agenda items, including policies related to illegal migration, reducing inflation, domestic energy production, protecting social security, and ensuring the dollar remains the world’s reserve currency.

American Jewish activist Shabbos Kestenbaum wrote in a post on X of his disbelief that Harris’ views on key issues remain hidden, stating that it will be difficult to support her candidacy without the campaign specifying what she plans to do about numerous issues facing the U.S.

“Um…the Kamala Harris campaign website does not list a *a single policy position*,” Kestenbaum said. “This is the first presidential campaign in modern American history to not include ANY beliefs of the candidate. Hard to consider voting for her when she doesn't outline what she’ll do as President.”

In subsequent posts, he added:

Im not exaggerating. Her website is just a merch store. Be it inflation, the border, the American hostages in Gaza, it’s absurd to run a campaign without telling Americans what specifically you will do. Has the media even asked?!

It’s a totally reasonable expectation, as a registered Democrat, to ask my party’s nominee to clearly articulate what specific policies they will advance. One can dislike Trump’s legislative priorities, but he’s very open and direct about them. I can’t say the same for Harris.
