Iran Launches Over 150 Ballistic Missiles at Israel

In an unprecedented attack, Iran fired between 150 and 200 ballistic missiles across Israel on Tuesday around 7:30 p.m. local time.


Many missiles were intercepted and two mild injuries were reported as a result of the launch. In a separate assault, four people were murdered in a reported terrorist attack in the Jaffa neighborhood of Tel Aviv, according to The Times of Israel.

The Magen David Adon ambulance service treated the two individuals, who were lightly wounded by shrapnel.

A statement from police cited by Reuters said seven others were injured in the Jaffa shooting. The shooters have reportedly been “neuralised” and the situation was “under control.”




The missile attack triggered sirens to ring out across Israel and citizens were told they can leave shelters but remain alert.

“I don’t think you can understand what’s happening right now,” tech columnist Hillel Fuld reported on X. “Literally booms over our heads every four seconds. Sirens non stop. Every single city is under attack. Literally. It’s raining ballistic missiles now!”


According to the Times, “Iran’s Revolutionary Guards say they launched dozens of missiles toward Israel and warned that if Israel retaliated Tehran’s response would be ‘more crushing and ruinous,’ Iranian state TV reports.”

MSNBC reports U.S. forces are aiding Israel by intercepting missiles.

“A defense official tells NBC News that, in accordance with U.S. ironclad commitment to Israel’s security, U.S. forces in the region are currently defending against Iranian-launched missiles targeting Israel,” the outlet reported on X.

Israeli military spokesperson Rear Adm. Daniel Hagari said their defense system is fully operational and prepared to intercept missiles.

“The IDF is doing and will continue to do everything necessary to protect the civilians of Israel,” he said, referring to the Israel Defense Forces, per The Hill. “The IDF is fully prepared for both defense and offense at peak readiness.”

In response to the attack, former President Donald Trump said the “World is on fire and spiraling out of control.”

“We have no leadership, no one running the Country,” he said in a statement. “We have a non-existent President in Joe Biden, and a completely absent Vice President, Kamala Harris, who is too busy fundraising in San Francisco, a City which she and Gavin Newscum totally destroyed, and staging fake photo ops. No one is in charge and it’s not even clear who is more confused: Biden or Kamala. Neither has any idea what is even going on.”

He added: “When I was President, Iran was in total check. They were starved for cash, fully contained, and desperate to make a deal. Kamala flooded them with American cash and, ever since, they’ve been exporting terror all over, and unraveling the Middle East.”
