Charlie Sheen Attacked in California Home by Neighbor

Actor Charlie Sheen was reportedly attacked by a neighbor who forced her way into his home in California.

The 47-year-old woman was arrested by officers from the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department on Dec. 20. She reportedly knocked on Sheen’s door and pushed into the home when he opened his door. Officers told TMZ that when Sheen opened the door to his home for them, the woman ripped his shirt and tried to choke him. The outlet reported that the woman then went back to her own home where she was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, force likely to create great bodily injury and burglary.

We're told Charlie doesn't understand what prompted the incident but this apparently isn't his first issue with her. ... He told deputies he believes the same woman squirted some type of sticky liquid on his car recently,” reported TMZ. She also allegedly put trash outside his door on Dec. 19.

Paramedics were called to the scene, but Sheen was not taken to the hospital.

The woman was identified in a Fox News report as Electra Schrock. She is scheduled to appear in court on Dec. 22, per NBC News.

Sheen, who is widely known for his role in the sitcom Two and a Half Men, has personally had a number of interactions with police.

In 2009, he spent eight hours of Christmas Day in jail after reportedly grabbing his then-wife, Brooke Mueller, by the throat and pushing her during a fight in their rental home in Aspen, Colorado. Both Sheen and Mueller were given blood alcohol tests at the scene. He was arrested on second-degree assault, menacing and criminal mischief.

He pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge from the case in August of 2010 and was ordered to spend 30 days in rehab and complete 36 hours of domestic violence counseling. He was also sentenced to three months' probation.

His second wife, Denise Richards, was granted a restraining order from Sheen after she claimed he had been physically and verbally abusive. The couple divorced in 2006, per USA Today.

Weeks before he was attacked by his neighbor, Sheen had publicly revealed he had been sober for nearly six years and was focused on raising his kids.

"Next month I'll be six years sober," he told People Magazine in early December. "I have a very consistent lifestyle now. It's all about single dad stuff, and raising my 14-year-old twin boys Max and Bob."

In addition to the twins he shares with Meuller, Sheen has two daughters with Richards and another daughter with Paula Profit.
